Set within a 6,300 sqm natural landscape in Arambol, Goa, Itaiba is built to host retreats, workshops, and immersive experiences.
Surrounded by jungle and anchored by a vast banyan tree, the space offers a calm and grounded environment for meaningful gatherings.
Itaíba comes from the Tupi-Guarani language, where “ita” means stone and “íba” means tree or fruit.
In some traditional botanical uses, the word refers to the banyan tree: a tree whose roots descend to the earth and become new trunks, forming a living sanctuary.
Symbolically, Itaíba evokes strength and growth united: grounded like stone, alive like a tree, expanding while remaining deeply connected to its source.
Purpose-built spaces including yoga shalas, a vegetarian & vegan kitchen, a serene swimming pool, open land, and shared spaces designed for connection and group experiences.
Wooden huts, open air structures, and a natural setting that supports rest, practice, and connection.

We celebrated my son’s birthday at ITAIBA, and it was amazing! 🌿 Together with the Family Ecstatic Dance, the pool, and plenty of space for the kids to play and explore, it turned out to be such a beautiful day 🙌 They host many lovely dance events for everyone, and the restaurant serves very tasty food as well ✨Posted on Google Tina WiacekTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A beautiful jungle sanctuary tucked away from the noise and crowds. Went to see the dance teachers performance night and was blown away by the talent they have from Europe and India. Finished the night off with a delicious meal at the restaurant there! (Awani). Highly recommended!Posted on Google Jessica LambertTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Itaiba is a thoughtfully and beautifully created space not only for dancers but for families and friends to enjoy. There’s a swimming pool surrounded by jungle and a great restaurant serving delicious vegan food; what’s not to love!Posted on Google Delphine Lotus YogaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A lovely place to have yummy vegan food and enjoy a clean large pool with the kids in a quiet location of Arambol (not that common anymore ;). They also have swings and a play area for kids to run around safely. We will be back for sure 👍🏼😊Posted on Google Rebecca AlinaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve been eating at Itaiba Restaurant in Arambol every day for the past weeks, so this is a real full experience review 😊 The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and made with love. The vibe is relaxed and quiet, children can play freely, and everyone here is incredibly kind and welcoming. It truly feels like a little home away from home. Highly recommended! 🌿✨Posted on Google Eylin BloomTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Itaiba is hands-down one of the most peaceful spots in Goa. From the moment you walk in, the energy just shifts—it’s lush, quiet, and incredibly grounding. Whether you’re there for a workshop or just to soak in the atmosphere, it feels like a total reset for the soul. The chilled-out, aesthetic vibes are matched only by the food, which is fresh, nourishing, and clearly made with love. If you’re looking for a sanctuary to breathe and reconnect, this is it.
