Retreat Accommodation

A stay for every budget

Wooden/bamboo huts

Itaiba offers thoughtfully designed wooden and bamboo huts with solid concrete flooring, combining natural aesthetics with comfort and durability. The huts are available both with and without attached bathrooms, providing flexible options for different retreat formats and budgets.
All units are oriented to face the open property, allowing for natural light, ventilation, and unobstructed views across the land, while maintaining a quiet and private atmosphere for rest and integration.

Budget Accommodation • Dormitories

For participants seeking a more affordable option, Itaiba also offers two minimalist dormitories
spaces designed for simplicity and practicality.

One dormitory is a semi-concrete structure with shared bathroom facilities nearby, while the
second is a fully concrete dormitory with an attached bathroom.

These spaces provide comfortable and functional accommodation for participants on a budget
while still allowing them to fully experience the retreat environment and shared life of the property.

SHALAS

Itaiba features one open shala measuring 10 × 10 meters, designed for group practices and gatherings. Built with bamboo roofing and tiled flooring, the space offers natural ventilation, shade, and a clean, stable surface suitable for yoga, movement, workshops, and ceremonies.
Its open structure allows participants to stay connected with the surrounding landscape while practising in a comfortable and functional environment.

Large Movement Shala & Swimming Pool

Itaiba also features a new open shala measuring 12 × 17 meters, designed to host a wide range of movement practices, workshops, and group sessions. The space includes a padded linoleum floor, providing a comfortable and supportive surface suitable for yoga, dance, martial arts, and other physical disciplines.

The shala faces the property’s 12 × 7 meter swimming pool, offering participants the possibility to relax and cool down after practice in a calm and refreshing setting. The pool area naturally complements the practice spaces and supports rest and nervous system recovery between sessions.

Nature & Banyan Tree

The land at Itaiba is shaped by a rich natural environment, centred around a large banyan tree that offers shade, grounding, and a natural gathering point for rest or informal practice. Across the property, a variety of mature trees, including cashew, cinnamon, lemon, and mango, together with numerous palms, create a diverse and vibrant landscape.

This natural setting supports a calm atmosphere throughout the day, offering fresh air, shade, and a sense of privacy while maintaining an open and spacious feeling across the land.

About Itaiba

Over 99+ Satisfied Customers

A retreat sanctuary designed for creation, connection, and quiet expansion

Set within a 6,300 sqm natural landscape in Arambol, Goa, Itaiba is built to host retreats, workshops, and immersive experiences.
Surrounded by jungle and anchored by a vast banyan tree, the space offers a calm and grounded environment for meaningful gatherings.

Itaíba comes from the Tupi-Guarani language, where “ita” means stone and “íba” means tree or fruit.
In some traditional botanical uses, the word refers to the banyan tree: a tree whose roots descend to the earth and become new trunks, forming a living sanctuary.
Symbolically, Itaíba evokes strength and growth united: grounded like stone, alive like a tree, expanding while remaining deeply connected to its source.
